1. Length - Distance from the tip of the nose to eye line in inches (blue color on the picture).

2. Circumference - Circumference around snout one inch below eye line in inches should be measured with mouth a little open (green color on the picture).

3. Eye Line - Distance from eye line to right behind the ears in inches (yellow color on the picture).

4. Neck Circumference - Circumference around neck behind ears in inches (pink color on the picture).

5. Width - Snout width in the widest part (orange color on the picture).

The big muzzle that I got is very good, the dog can breathe and drink freely. She even prefers it to a soft lightweight fabric muzzle. It is very good with a very strong metal insert in front. It meets all my expectations as to thick muzzle leather. It also has a pleasant leather smell. The return and receipt of a smaller size were excellent, all my letters were answered the same way. I highly recommend that you ask the size of the muzzles before you order the size that you need, because there are certain sizes, they are not produced individually by the size of the dog. They can describe the dimensions that they produce. This will save your time and money for a refund. I hope this helps. This muzzle is worth paying even a little more because your dog can breathe and open the mouth comfortably and it does its job for everyday use or for work. I highly recommend it.
